• CORE BELIEFS

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

  • CORE BELIEFS

The following are the core beliefs of Kingdom Come based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

Bible

The Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the infallible, inerrant Word of God.

God

God has eternally existed in 3 co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the source and sustainer of all things, and all humans bear His image

Jesus

Jesus the Son of God is both fully God and fully human. As Messiah, He chose to lay down his life at the cross and shed His innocent blood for the forgiveness of our sins, the healing of our diseases, the deliverance of our souls. His Resurrection defeated even the powers of death and hell and made it possible for Holy Spirit filled believers to walk in His authority.

Holy Spirit

The 3rd person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He empowers believers with boldness, prophecy, tongues, gifts, and fruits. There is both the reality of being FILLED with the Holy Spirit and being CLOTHED in the Holy Spirit (baptism of fire).

Humanity

Humans are created in the image of God. Because of this, all people have dignity and worth. Because of sin, we have all fallen from grace and stand in need of rescue and restoration.
It is only through repentance and faith in Jesus that we are reconciled back to the Father.

Salvation

Salvation is found in Jesus alone. He lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Having been raised from the dead, we are offered the free gift of eternal life through faith in Him.

Baptism & Communion

We believe in Water Baptism & the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is the outward sign of an inward change. In itself, it does not save you, but is a testament to what God has done in your life.
We observe Communion every time we gather and encourage you to observe it in your home with your family. It is a holy and sacred moment with Jesus.  All are welcome at the Lords table for Communion.

Church

Jesus is the head of His Church, the body. A Head cannot function without the body, nor the body without the head.  It is His great pleasure to engage us in this divine partnership of furthering His Kingdom.
